2U Neumann V475-2B Summing / Mastering Rack

This custom 2U rack houses a pristine Neumann V475-2B NOS summing amplifier, delivering legendary German broadcast sound in a modern studio format. It provides 32 balanced analog inputs on Tascam-standard D-Sub connectors, feeding a powerful summing stage with exceptional headroom and musical harmonic detail.

The output section features four balanced XLR connectors arranged as two independent stereo pairs, giving flexible routing for mix and mastering chains. A Master Insert loop on balanced XLR includes dedicated bypass switches for effortless integration of external processing.

Front-panel control is precise and repeatable. You’ll find dual 21-step output trim controls offering a wide 0 to –70 dB range, plus dual 21-step Neumann precision master gain controls for ultra-accurate level matching between stereo channels.

For maximum versatility, Master Active/Passive switches allow you to choose classic passive summing or active Neumann amplification on the fly. A bright white power LED provides clear status at a glance.

An external power supply with EU plug keeps noise away from critical audio paths, and the front panel can be finished with custom name engraving for a personal, professional touch.
