Placing an Order for the Production of This Equipment – Submit Your Request for a Custom Unit – Pre-Order for Manufacturing Studio Device

Payment: Bank Wire Direct Transfer or PayPal.

Using PayPal as a payment method, add 8% extra to the total amount, as PayPal is more expensive than Direct Bank transfer (PayPal fee / non-US resident / exchange rate conversion loss, etc.). PayPal processing fees are not refundable under any circumstance. This is their policy since Jan.1 2020.

All prices are net export prices and do not include shipping and/or handling.
Shipping and/or handling costs will be calculated automatically by the site’s checkout system.

Place Order = Pre Order to build a custom unit

The purchased product is not available in stock and ready for immediate delivery since it is custom-made. The production time is specified in the product description for every product.
The customer selects, and upon placing an order, pre-orders or orders the manufacturing of the product they have chosen based on the options they have selected. The product description always includes the production time, which the customer accepts.


Customized studio equipment or custom development orders placed outside the online store.

Upfront Payment for Pre-order is available only if the customer wants to secure and pre-book the order and manufacturing fulfillment.

In the case of a pre-order, the manufacturer requests a deposit to initiate project plans, design, and manufacturing, with the remaining balance due after the order is completed (once the product is ready for delivery). The seller (manufacturer) guarantees the timely completion of the product, as agreed upon by both parties.

After reaching a technical and financial agreement, we kindly request email confirmation from your end regarding setup options, configuration, and design plans approval.
Once we receive the upfront payment, we will promptly send you an email confirmation of the payment received. Simultaneously, we will commence work on your desired equipment front and rear design plans and send them to you via email for your approval in PDF format. The laser engraving process will initiate once we’ve received your final confirmation reply via email concerning the front and rear design plans.

Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly review the final proof and layout for accuracy in terms of spelling, grammar, and content before commencing the engraving process. The customer, are free to make changes to the order specifications before the laser engraving process begins. However, if there are changes to the setup configuration after we’ve completed the laser engraving process, there may be additional charges for re-designing, front or rear plate pricing, engraving fees, and man-hours. Upon the physical completion of the device, we will inform you and request confirmation of your shipping address and phone number once more. During this period, we will initiate an 8-hour test run with audio test result documentation.


Shipping

We offer shipping with insurance and a tracking number, using triple-safe packaging. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. For international shipping, customers may incur additional charges. Please note that shipping outside the EU may experience longer transit times, depending on the chosen shipping company and the destination country.

Agreement on Resources and Intellectual Property:
Both parties agree in principle that the Seller is the authority on resources and designs for the items and acts in good faith regarding any advice and/or technical knowledge provided to the client during the design process.

The client agrees that all designs, plans, ideas, and images directly associated with the creation of a bespoke item by the Seller remain the intellectual property of the Seller. Likewise, the client agrees that all designs, plans, ideas, and images associated with any item made by the Seller are the exclusive property of the Seller and are subject to standard legal protections and rights as intellectual property.

The Seller agrees to treat the client’s bespoke design as confidential and private, as requested, during the manufacturing process. The terms of any privacy agreement between the Seller and the client will be mutually agreed upon at the time of ordering and payment.

Right to Refuse Orders

Due to the costly and labor-intensive nature of bespoke and custom manufacturing, the Seller reserves the right to refuse any order if the terms and intent of this agreement are breached in any way by the client. The Seller understands its responsibilities as a trader and abides by the principles of Fair Trading.

Binding Agreement:
Both parties agree that this is a fair and binding terms of sale document as discussed and agreed upon at the time of the order.The purchase contract becomes legally effective upon fulfillment by the seller, which means it takes effect when the goods are delivered in accordance with the delivery note. Orders can be placed via email after both parties have accepted the technical and financial agreements, confirming the order as the current order form document. The customer has the flexibility to modify the order confirmation specifications before the laser engraving process begins, but any changes are not allowed after the laser engraving process has been completed.


Warranty terms

We offer a one-year full-service warranty from the date of purchase. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges, including those for international shipping. The seller is not liable for any electrical, bodily, or environmental damage resulting from the consumer’s use of our products. Consumers are advised to test all cables and electrical devices before use. Defective cables, connections, DAW interfaces, external processors/instruments, and speakers may damage connected equipment.

Each VM product is tested, calibrated, and comes with individual audio test results and unique documentation. However, we do not assume responsibility for events that occur after the product leaves our workshop. Please inspect the delivered goods immediately for any obvious material or manufacturing defects or transport damage. You are legally obliged to report any defects or faults so that we can take remedial action.

The right to a warranty claim does not apply if the error was caused by any of the following reasons:

The customer did not inspect the goods upon receipt.
The customer did not report an obvious fault.
The object of purchase was used incorrectly (e.g., subject to jumps, radical use, or crashes).
The object of purchase was altered into a configuration not permitted by the producer.
The customer did not follow the usage, operational, and maintenance instructions for the object of purchase.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to verify the condition and compatibility of received products upon final delivery.
If an VintageMaker package appears damaged on arrival, the customer must document this condition over your signature on the shipper’s receipt.
If damage is discovered after opening the package, notify the shipping carrier immediately. VintageMaker takes extra precautions to protect and pack products for safe arrival. Claims for damage must be directed to the shipping carrier, not to VintageMaker.
All damaged items must be reported to VintageMaker no more than 3 calendar days following the date of delivery.

Return Policy

Should you wish to return an item within 14 days of delivery due to a change of mind or lack of adequate knowledge on its use, you may do so for a refund of the purchase price. It’s important to note that there is a 40% restocking fee applied to all returned products, particularly custom-built instruments, which will be deducted from the refund

Returned items must be in brand-new condition and show no signs of wear, including, but not limited to, scratches, scuffs, dings, and damaged packaging. The item must be returned in good condition, without scratches or dents. We reserve the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee at our discretion.

Items returned in need of repair will be credited with the original paid amount, deducting the repair costs and restocking fee. Shipping and handling costs, along with other additional charges, are non-refundable. To request a return or exchange, please contact us.

At Vintage Maker, we want to ensure you have the right piece of gear. However, excessive use or abuse of this policy may result in the loss of certain provisions.”

Return Repair Service

Return a VintageMaker Product for Repair Service: The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the product to VintageMaker. Validated warranty repair, including RETURN shipping, parts, and labor, will be paid by VintageMaker. SHIPPING: PLEASE USE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING IF POSSIBLE. If that’s not possible, please triple-pack the item securely.

Sales refusal

The customer does not answer the technical questions.
The customer deletes certain parts of the main email conversation between us.
The customer ignores any suggestions or technical documentations.
The customer is unable to understand complex sentences or technical diagrams.
The customer is not willing to watch and understand 2-3 minute tutorial videos (impatient).
The customer is unwilling to learn and understand analog mixing principles and physics.
The customer does not respond to repeated questions.”

Vintage Maker never wants to leave you with the wrong piece of gear. However, any excessive use or abuse of this policy may result in loss of certain provisions.
