Black Nile Summing mixer
Full transperancy, i was looking at API summing mixer, NEVE, and various off shoots. What i discovered was that there are pros and cons, features that i needed I'd have to PAY more for. You can't beat this summing mixer for the price, it has all the bells and whistles + simple enough to keep the creative flow going. I haven't even needed to use the 1-16 sends/returns. Because i've been loving the Master S/R. I have them hooked up to stereo distressor compressors which add so much flavor and warmth. 2. I also needed a headphone amp to send signal around the room(recording drums etc). THIS does it all! The sound coming out, is amazing, warm, yet punchy! I have no need for any other summing mixer and will inevitably order another one once i move to a new studio. I work with John legend, Raphael Saadiq, Stevie wonder, Booker T and the MGs, Tyler the creator, Kamasi washington, Nubya Garcia, Leon Bridges, and tons of more acts!
