Surround Studio System Switcher | Analog Monitor & Routing Control
-
Outputs of Orion 32 interface, which can be routed either to the summing mixer, or to the surround speakers.
-
2-Bus hardware (which consists of several analogue units for saturation, compression, EQ, etc.), which can be inserted either after the summing mixer, or routed to separate inserts in my DAW.
-
Stereo speakers, which can be switched from the stereo setup to the surround setup.
-
Surround speakers and LFE.
Overall, it’s an amazing unit to have, and makes my life so much easier now, as I can switch momentarily from one setup to another. Primarily, I use either summing or no summing configuration, routing my 2-Bus hardware one way or the other. Also, since I work on films, switching the surround speakers right at my desk helps a lot.
