Specs:
- 8 Ch Input: DSUB Tascam Analog Balanced
- 2 Ch Monitor Input: TRS 1/4″ Balanced (switching for regular summing input or monitor input)
- Output: 2x Stereo / 4x TRS Balanced L/R Main/Monitor (common)
- 1 x Stereo to 2 Mono on 1/2 stereo input (mono kick/bass)
- Monitor OUT SWITCH: Signal straight to Master Outputs – Direct Monitoring – Input to Output – Monitor switch.
- *DIR Switch lets you switch between regular Summing mode and direct monitoring without unplugging anything.
You don’t have to unplug: In “everyday” work, Antelope Audio Zen Tour monitor out is routed directly to the summing mixer (pre-production, programming, editing, etc.). Switch Monitor OUT to DIRECT OUT mode, and you’ll have straight monitoring from the Apollo interface through the summing mixer.
At the same time, you can use the monitor input/output as an instrument input for the summing mixer, allowing you to send more valuable analog channels to the analog mixer to achieve a more detailed, deep, and wide-resolution sound.
-
- Monitor Switch DOWN: Normal mode – Use Antelope monitor outputs for general tasks (e.g., assign instrument tracks).
- Monitor Switch UP (OUT): Direct mode – Antelope monitor outputs are sent straight to the summing mixer 2 x Stereo master outputs.
*Summing 1-8 inputs are still active (mute from DAW).
*Equivalent signal on both stereo outputs.
If you need exclusive 1-8 mute with DIRECT MONITOR OUT active monitoring, please ask for the Total Bypass feature. read more: https://vintagemaker.net/documentation/#dir-direct-input-to-output-switch

The Zen Tour deserved better than going straight into the box
Had the Antelope Zen Tour for a while and always felt like it wasn't quite singing — mixes where coming out a bit flat and crowded. Dropped this in between the interface and monitors and the differance was imeddiate. The low end seperates properly now, kick and bass actually have their own space without fighting each other.
The monitor DIR switch is a clever bit of thinking — lets you keep the Zen's monitor outs routed for everyday work and flip to direct monitoring without touching a single cable. Saves so much faffing around mid-session.
DSUB in, 4x TRS out, STM switch for the mono channels — everything you actually need, nothing you don't. Solid aluminium build, laser engraved, looks the part on the desk too. 10 days build time, arrived well packed. Absolutly worth it.
