4-Way In / 1-Way Out Hi-Fi RCA Switcher with Dual Preamp Inserts

Hand-built passive RCA switcher with 4 stereo inputs, 2 stereo insert loops and 1 stereo output, designed according to the customer’s ideas, plans, and specifications.

Insert 1 → Little Dot
Insert 2 → Pietus Maximus

Output → TU-8900

The selected source can be routed directly to the TU-8900 or through either insert, or through both inserts when required.

BBM Signal & Ground Switching

The main signal routing uses break-before-make (BBM) switching, with both L/R signal and signal ground switched together.

All RCA connectors are electrically isolated from the chassis.

The two insert loops use a common signal ground, but this signal ground has no connection to chassis ground.

Output Isolation Switch

The TU-8900 output includes a dedicated ON/OFF isolation switch, disconnecting both L/R signal and signal ground. This allows the TU-8900 to be completely disconnected when listening through the Pietus Maximus or other insert configuration.

Passive Signal Path

100% passive operation with no active electronics, buffers, relays or digital circuitry in the audio path.

No power supply required.

System Note

The switcher is designed to prevent unwanted signal and ground interaction within the unit itself. However, noise, hum, ground loops, or crosstalk originating from other equipment or additional connections elsewhere in the audio system are outside the switcher’s control.
