Easily switch between TS – XLR outputs

XLR 2-Way BAL/UNBAL Selector Switcher –  Zero Crosstalk

Product: Manley Massive Passive XLR ↔ TS Selector Switch – transformer – transformerless switcher
Description: This is a 2-way selector switch that allows you to toggle between a balanced (XLR) and an unbalanced (TS) output for the same signal. It’s ideal, for example, for the Manley Massive Passive studio unit when you need to switch from XLR to TS output.

Note: When switching from XLR (balanced) to TS (unbalanced), the signal level may drop by approximately –6 dB. This is not a fault of the switcher, but a result of how balanced/unbalanced signals work: balanced signals run in two phases (“+” and “–”), while unbalanced signals use only one conductor and ground.

Switching from XLR (balanced) to TS (unbalanced) may lower the signal by ~6 dB. This is normal — balanced signals use two phases, unbalanced only one. The TS output may sound quieter, but the device is working correctly.
