AUX Inputs 1/2 have no attenuation, so you can use them for clean amplification, to drive another passive summing stage, or for future upgrades. They’re also suitable for instrument-level amplification or for processing a single stereo signal through the transformers, as mentioned earlier.
Please note: these are high-sensitivity inputs. If you send a line-level signal into the AUX, make sure to reduce it by –30 dB — do not send more than that!
Inputs 3–10 are standard Summing Mixer inputs with attenuation (also routed through the transformers) to provide the full analog summing process for line, DAW, Synth or other signal purposes.

Took it to three sessions, used it on every one
Bought this primarly for remote work and location recording but it's ended up as a permanent fixture in the main studio too. That's the best endorsement I can give — it was suposed to be the travel unit and never went back in the bag.
Four Haufe transformers, in and out, in a box this size is pretty remarkable. The Filtek BFE character sits somewhere between the classic Neumann warmth and a more modern console aggresion — a bit of push in the upper mids, nice low end density, stereo image that actualy has some air to it rather than just width.
What I keep coming back to is how it handles the summing inputs differently to a pure passive box. The transformers are doing real work on the signal, not just passing it through — you can hear the mixes responding when you push a bit more level into them. That subtle harmonic thing is genuinly musical, not just coloration for the sake of it.
AUX inputs with no attenuation are handy for instrument level or chaining another summing stage. Build is exquisite — solid aluminium, proper knobs, nothing rattles or feels cheap. 12 days as advertised.
